What is Simply Giving Back?

Simply Giving Back is our way of paying it forward. SimplyRaise donates up to $1.00 back to charity.* It’s that simple.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Every time someone signs up for an event through SimplyRaise:     

  • SimplyRaise collects a fee.
  • SimplyRaise donates up to $1 per registrant to charity.
  • Each quarter, Simply Raise donates up $1 per registrant back to the host organization or to a registered SimplyRaise charity selected by you the event organizer.

Non-Profits

Clients from verified non-profit organizations receive a donation directly from SimplyRaise.

Businesses

Clients from for-profit entities direct their donation to any one of SimplyRaise’s registered charities.

So, let’s say you’re a non-profit organization. Each May you host a celebrity golf tournament to raise funds for the organization. The entry fee per player is $250 (including the $5 registration fee), and you can accommodate 100 players. Using Simply Raise, you build an event registration site and fill all 100 open slots.

In July, you receive a donation check from Simply Raise for $100 – that’s $1.00 for each of the 100 registrants who used your Simply Raise registration page to sign up for the tournament. Let’s now imagine you host four events a year, each with 100 registrants. Instead of one donation from Simply Raise for $100, you’d receive four donations from Simply Raise totaling $400. See how it adds up? The more registrants you sign up on Simply Raise, the more donations come back to your organization.

What if you’re a for-profit business using SimplyRaise? Good news. We will still donate $1 per registrant, only we’ll let you decide what non-profit you wish to give it to. You can chose from a list of registered Simply Raise charities, or, if you’d like to direct your gift to an organization not yet registered, just have the non-profit sign up for a free Simply Raise account at http://www.simplyraise.com. Once non-profit status has been verified, the organization will be added to the list of eligible charities.
